Mr. Rajat Chandolia, AVP and Head of Brand & Strategy at HCL Group, said, “Through zonal championships like this, we aim to strengthen the sport at a pan-India level by encouraging greater participation and elevating the game across regions. HCL has been organizing one of the largest and most prestigious international bridge championships annually, the HCL International Bridge Championship, attracting top talent from across the globe and fostering a high level of competition. In this championship, three key events will take place:

  • Team-of-Four Duplicate
  • The Match Point Pairs Event
  • The Swiss Pairs Event

Notable participants include India’s accomplished players R. Krishnan and P. Sridhar from Chennai, as well as international players like Asantha De Mel from Sri Lanka, adding a global dimension to the event.
